Derby Day

Derby Day is the first day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival and an important one in the fashion stakes.

This is a day where classic elegance, glamour and sophistication are the words of the day. Traditionally black and white is the theme of the day with big hats and sleek dresses the main stay of Derby Day 2015.

The official flower for Derby Day is the cornflower which can be purchased on the day from the flower sellers at the entrance to Flemington racecourse.
